Jaguar Fueling Services is #FuelingRecovery
Of all the seasons in the year, mid-Summer to early Fall is by far, both the most rewarding, and the most heartbreaking times of the year for Jaguar Fueling. From June 1st until November 30th, Texas to Eastern Seaboard of the United States enters into its annual hurricane season. It is a season where heart-strings are permanently tied to us by the people in the communities we serve. Whether you are in Texas or one of the other coastal states, you understand the impact that hurricanes can have on the lives of people affected by these storms.
Over the years, Jaguar Fueling Services has been on the front lines of some of the most devastating storms in American History, especially here at our headquarters in Houston, Texas. We have seen the pain of those who have lost everything; left only with each other and the clothes on their backs. We have seen countless businesses devastated, and owners left despondent, not knowing when or if they will ever recover.
And yet, despite the destruction these storms bring, we are also privileged to see and participate in the proverbial “silver lining” that accompanies these tragic natural events. We get to be a part of communities who come together, united, for the cause of restoration. We get to see people come to life as they push past their troubles only to help those who have suffered more severely. And as a business, we get to trudge through the water and mud, alongside other volunteers, to assist those who need help. To see the smile on the face of someone rescued from tumultuous waters, or to hold the hand of a child as they recount the harrowing events of their home consumed by water. These encounters are priceless.
Sure, Jaguar Fueling delivers the much-needed fuel for emergency backup generators, rescue vehicles, pumps, and other emergency equipment for communities impacted by the storm. Still, it is the lives of those we encounter during in the course of business that affect us the most. To participate in the experiences of our customers on a deeper level, especially when they are most vulnerable, is an opportunity for us to show that we are #MoreThanJustAFuelingCompany. Each delivery we make is an opportunity to restore dignity, offer compassion, and sometimes give the most precious of gifts–a simple hug to a customer/friend in need.
At Jaguar Fueling Services, our customers are an extension of our family. We care about those we serve most deeply. For much of the year, it is business as usual, but when those times come, and our clients need more than just a tank of fuel, Jaguar Fueling is there for them in a big way. We are there #FuelingRestoration.
With the 2019 hurricane season well underway our teams are already poised for action on the eastern coast helping our clients to prepare for Hurricane Dorian. While Dorian is expected to skirt the Florida and Georgia coastlines later this week, Jaguar Fueling is prepared to join arms with our friends along the coast. We are here to help our friends get through the storm surge that is likely to impact the mainland. As the storm progresses into the Carolina’s Jaguar Fueling Services is already prepared to meet the demands of Florida’s neighbors to the north.
While we genuinely hope that this is the last major storm of the 2019 Hurricane season, experience has taught us that it is no time to let down our guard. NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) suggests that we should expect an above-normal hurricane season. NOAA is predicting 10–17 named storms, 5–9 hurricanes, and 2–4 major hurricanes in 2019.
Through the Storms

In August of 2017 during Hurricane Harvey our Jaguar Fueling facility and equipment and suppllies took a major blow. We lost everything, our office, our warehouse, our tanks and trucks. Needless to say our teams spirits were dampened. We as a company had been on a major movement upward, making our presence known throughout the fueling industry. We could have laid down and called it quits. At times it seemed like the easier option. That storm was devastating to our entire city and state. So many people’s homes, businesses and lives affected. I mentioned that Jaguar Fueling lost everything. That’s not really true, through it all our team never lost hope, never lost our Faith, and never lost the power of prayer. I look back at all we overcame and know that this was accomplished by His will, not ours. Here we are in 2019, standing strong, The nations most powerful fueling company and it brings to mind our friends in Puerto Rico still recovering from Hurricane Maria, struggling yet rebuilding. They too will rise stronger than ever before. The Florida Keys, completely wiped out by Hurricane Irma, already back up and thriving. As I think and pray now for all the people suffering in the Bahamas, this prayer from the bible keeps going through my head. Our thoughts and prayers are with all that have been in the path, or are in the path of Hurricane Dorian. “This too shall pass”.
Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by.

Jaguar Fueling Services
With that in mind, Jaguar Fueling Services is on the ready with a full team of drivers operating more than 20 bobtail trucks, capable of delivering 4,500 gallons of fuel. Our transport trucks are active and can haul 7,500 gallons of fuel. We have a massive inventory of mobile storage tanks already onboard and staged in areas of expected impact. Our dispatchers and sales teams are on call 24X7 to assist our clients before, during, and after a significant storm event. But most importantly, Jaguar Fueling is ready to lend a helping hand during the most critical moments, to offer assistance, encouragement, hope, and friendship to those who need it most.
Finally, our hearts go out to our friends in the Bahamas who have been victimized by this most recent storm. We understand that at least seven people have already tragically lost their lives as Dorian battered the Bahamas. Please join Jaguar Fueling as we lift our Caribbean neighbors in our prayers.
