With Hurricane Florence, poised to begin its trek up the North Carolina Coast later this week before making its left-hand turn and pummeling the land with a powerful storm surge and high winds which may also threaten South Carolina, Jaguar Fueling Services is on the scene. A category 3 hurricane with sustained winds of 125-130 mph, Hurricane Florence could begin its devastation as early as late Thursday or Friday delivering high winds and a dangerous storm surge.
According to forecast models, the storm will stall early Friday morning before making its inland turn and brutally punishing the coastal area moving at a snail’s pace of 2 to 3 miles per hour. It is still unclear as to where the hurricane will make its final landfall.
