Job Description

Jaguar Fueling Services is a fuel and lubricant distributor throughout the United States looking for a Service Technician to install, repair, maintain, adjust and troubleshoot our equipment in the field and home warehouse. Customer service is our #1 priority, so we are looking for dedicated and driven employees with customer service experience as well as related service technician experience. Duties and Responsibilities (But are not limited to)

  • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain operating condition of automotive service equipment.
  • Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
  • Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
  • Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
  • Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Clean, lubricate, and adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
  • Record installation, repairs, and maintenance on work orders for invoice processing, as required by Company procedures.
  • Record parts and materials used, and order or requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
  • Demonstrate equipment function/features and operation to end-user/customer.
  • Maintains excellent customer relations by providing courteous, professional and timely service.
  • Operate newly installed equipment to verify proper installation.
  • Installation may require plumbing, piping, wiring and mechanical assembly.
  • Repair and replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
  • Prepare, load and deliver/pick up lubricant and tank orders.
  • Keep warehouse and yard up to Company and OSHA standards.
  • Retrieve Fuel and Lubricant Samples at customer locations, as required by Company procedures.
  • Operate and Inspect Forklift daily.
  • Perform Daily Check List of inventory with inspections of warehouse and yard.
  • Assist with monthly inventory.
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Two years Industrial Services experience in Petroleum Industry.
  • TWIC Card – Not required, but preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Stable past employment history.
  • Ability to interact with and develop good working relationships with technical and administration staff and/or customers.
  • Must be detailed oriented.
  • Must be able to communicate well in verbal and written fashion.
  • Ability to complete paperwork efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to complete DOT paperwork efficiently and accurately including daily logs.
  • Professional appearance and nature.
  • Driver’s license CDL class A, with tanker and hazmat endorsement with good driving record.
  • A good understanding of DOT regulations
  • Willing and able to travel up to 25%
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and an extended workweek
  • Mechanic background – 2 years minimum experience.
  • Certified Welder – Not required, but preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to be on your feet long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in hot and cold weather conditions
  • Able to work 12 to 16 hour shifts (days or nights)
  • Able to work in the following environments – Industrial manufacturing, Refinery, Petro-Chemical warehouse, industrial plants

Required experience:

  • Industrial Services (in a Refinery, Petro-Chemical or manufacturing plant): 2 years
  • working with filtration and vacuum dehydration equipment – Not required, but preferred.
  • operating oil flushing pumps – Not required, but preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 /hour

  • High school or equivalent

  • Industrial Services: 2 years

Required licenses or certifications:

  • CDL Class A
  • Hazmat
